Maine South Respect Week 2023

We had a blast today alongside Hawk Pals at Maine South High School as part of Respect Week and Down Syndrome Awareness Day! We shared information about our mission, talked about inclusion, gave away items from us and National Association for Down Syndrome and introduced the scholarship we’ll be offering to Juniors and Seniors at Maine South this year. Our friend Jane stopped by to help us at the table!

 Thank you to all the students and teachers that wore blue and yellow to celebrate and show their support of the Down syndrome community! What a great way to spread awareness, end the word and promote respect and inclusion!
